This time I have extra motivation though. There is an entry fee for this competition and winner takes all. Tracey needs some new shoes!! I also have to win to gain bragging rights. That's almost more motivation than the money. If you can't tell from my blog, I am a wee bit competitive. And I am not modest at all when I win either. I'm excited!
I am going to try posting more often over the next six weeks so my readers (all three of you) can follow along. However, I will not be posting how much weight I have lost, nor will I be giving away all of my secrets, just in case one of my three readers is in the competition and gains the inside track through my blog. I will give suggestions and some information about what I have been doing and whether it's working or not though.
As I mentioned in my last post, there are weekly challenges. This week (Tuesday-Monday) is no alcohol. This won't be a problem for me at all. However, the others might pose a problem. For example, one week is eat clean for six of the seven days and while I can lose weight and eat healthy, I still like my boxes, cans and bags of already prepared food. Therein lies part of my problem too. I like convenience. It took me about four hours this past weekend to plan and prepare my menus and plan my exercise. Granted, I was getting distracted constantly too, so who knows how long it would take if I could focus for a few minutes.
I will try most, if not all of the extra challenges because it's interesting, I can do anything for a week and I. WANT. TO. WIN!!!
