You don't have to do this alone!

Guess what!

Now, no one has to do this alone!  The Y has a new class on Monday nights.  It is called Y Weight?  Starting March 5th, from 7-8pm in the studio, there will be an information/question session as well as a 30 minute workout based on your needs and present fitness level.
There will also be a weekly weigh in (and measurements taken) to help keep you motivated.  ALL included with your membership!  Or, just pay a day pass if you aren't a member.  No Excuses!  This is your weekly tip; don’t try to lose weight and exercise alone.  Come to this class, or if you can’t make it, get a buddy to keep you accountable.  They also make it harder to skip a workout, because you are less likely to cancel on a friend than if you were just going alone.
So, I did my first “real” workout today since I hurt my back before Christmas and it was great.  I realized today how much I have been holding back in my classes because I was worried about hurting myself again or making it worse.  We-Fix-U-Fixed-Me!  Wahoo!!  I am so excited (seriously!), it’s been too long.  I am going to be incorporating my own workouts into my days as well as teaching my many classes and working both jobs.
This week has been interesting.  I spoke too soon about the month being easier!  Not so, for the past week, I have had a few “issues” with treats.  My husband (who is trying to help) has asked me both times before the treat is purchased “Are you going to blog about that?”  I actually had no intention of blogging about the “mishaps,” but decided I probably wasn’t the only one who falls off the wagon frequently once or twice.  It’s the getting back on that’s important.  I am not giving up!  Any other time I have dieted, I have given up and gone right back to my bad habits.  I have always been an all or nothing type of person and that’s been my downfall.  Luckily, I have made that impossible this time :)  I did go to the (bad for me) grocery store to buy just milk and made it out without snacks.  One day at a time….
