May Flowers

You can always tell when I haven’t lost any weight or inches in a month: I’m always late in posting.
  The only good thing about April is that I did not gain any weight.  My clothes still feel different though.  I have two “new” pairs of capris.  New as in they didn’t fit a while ago and they do now, not new just from the store new.  Perhaps I’m losing inches in all areas except for the ones I measure?  I did get my Birkenstocks out and had to tighten all of the straps from last year.  So, my feet shrink, but I can’t lose an inch from my hips?  Go figure!
May will be better.  Already the nice weather has had me outside when I normally prefer the indoors.  I am totally a fair weather person.  I don’t like going out in the cold, wet or hot.  I cleaned out the garage yesterday and other than a giant (to me!!) garter snake, it was incident free.  Gah, I hate snakes!  And at my house is even worse!

 Golf started last week too, so that’s some more outdoor activity for me (unless it rains…).  I am still as bad as I remember, but I like it.  When I am training new people to exercise and they ask what they should do for cardio and when they should do it, I always say whenever you will do it and whatever you like to do.  If you don’t like something, the chances of you continuing are slim to none.  Not that I am saying golf is cardio.  It’s not, but it gets me out of the house so that somewhat counts.
Here’s hoping May brings weight loss, not just flowers.  I know, you get what you work for….
